Senate the bill entitled an Act relating to foreign Insurance
Companies, for further consideration.

By order,

A. GASSAWAY,
Secretary.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of Dele-
gates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 44, 45
and 49 of Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, en-
titled "Prince George's County," under the head of Collec-
tors," &c., and re-enact the following in lieu thereof.'

Being on the second reading,
Mr. Wilson submitted the following amendments :

Amend section 1 by striking out the figures " 56," where
they occur in the 10th line.

Amend section 44 by adding after the word " provided,"
where it occurs in the 29th line, the following: and the
Clerk of the County Commissioners shall be entitled for the
increased duties imposed by this Act, to the sum of two hun-
dred dollars in addition to the compensation he now receives.

Amend by striking out section 54.

Amend title by striking out the figures "56," where they
occur in the 11th line.

Which were severally read and adopted.
The sections, as amended, were then read and adopted.

Said bill was then ordered to be engrossed, for the third
reading.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,

Two additional members were appointed on the Select
Committee on House bill entitled an Act to protect wild fowl
in the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.

The President appointed Senators Clarke and Parker.

Mr. Parker moved a suspension of the rules in order to in-
troduce the following:

Leave to introduce a bill to increase the number of magis-
trates in election district No. 1, Calvert county.

The yeas and nays were called, as required by section 27
of Article 3, of the Constitution, and appeared, as follows :
