Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom the
leave was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to refund
to Jno. D. Bowling and John Bowling, of Prince George's
county, moneys erroneously paid by them to Inspectors of
Tobacco in Baltimore city, for outage and storage.

Which was read the first time.

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to issue its bonds to defray the ex-
penses of the building of the new City Hall,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Browne, Malone,
Clarke, Miller,
Earle, Sellman,
Fields, Snyder,
Henkle, Spates,
Hyland, Timmons,
Jump, Welch,
Kimmel, Wilson—16.

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Wilson, from the Select Committee to whom the leave
was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to make valid
a deed from the County Commissioners of Prince George's
county, to Charles Parker,

Which was read the first time.

The House bill entitled an Act to transfer the sum of
money appropriated, by chapter 303, section I, Act of Gen-
eral Assembly of 1860, to the Elk ton and Sassafras Railroad
Company, from said Company to the Elkton and Massey's
Railroad Company,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.
