NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Mr. Kimmel, from the Select Committee, to whom the
leave was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to enable
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to endorse or
guarantee the first mortgage bonds of the Maryland Central
Railroad Company, to the amount of six hundred thousand
dollars. Which was read the first time.
Mr. Snyder moved that when the Senate adjourn to day,
it stand adjourned untill Monday. On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.
Mr. Henry, from the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, to whom was referred House bill entitled
an Act to repeal and re-enact with amendments, sections 12
and 14, of Article 41, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Potomac," and to add
additional sections thereto, reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time. The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section
to Article 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Crimes and Punishments," said section to be entitled "De-
faulter," Was real the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
