crease the same, and if by increasing, injury should result,
then the law as it now is, shall prevail, to the end that no
injury beinflicted, and include all other waters of the State.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the fol-
lowing bill:

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments sections 12 and 14, of Article 41, Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Potomac."

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Mr. Henry, from the Committee on the Chesapeake and
its Tributaries, to whom the leave was granted, reported &
bill entitled an Act repeal the Act passed at January
session, 1868, chapter 406, in relation to Oysters, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.
On motion by Mr. Hyland,
The Senate adjourned.

SATURDAY, March. 26,1870.
The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Southgate.
Present at roll call, the following Senators :

Messrs. Browne, Clarke, Earle, Fields, Henry, Hyland,
Jump, Kimmel, Malone, Miller. Sellman, Snyder, Spates,
Stephenson, Timmons, Welch—12.
The Journal of yesterday was read and approved.
The President laid before the Senate the preamble and
resolutions of the Mayor, Recorder, and Aldermen of the city
of Annapolis in reference to the Drum Point Railroad Com-
pany.'

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to change the dividing line
between the 3rd and 6th election districts of Prince George's.
