The House bill entitled, an Act to authorize the Trustees
of the Lower West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, in
Cecil county, to sell and convey the lot of ground, part of the
bequest of Elizabeth A. McMains, deceased, of said county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Fields, Miller,
Grove, Snyder,
Henkle, Spates,
Henry, Stephenson,
Hyland, Timmons,

NEGATIVE—None.

The House bill entitled an Act to legalize the "bequest
made by John Whitmore, to certain churches in Frederick
county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

On motion by Me. Clarke, and by unanimous consent,

Leave was granted to Senators Clarke, Jump, Browne,
Snyder and Stephenson to introduce a bill to extend the
limits of Baltimore county, two hundred yards inside the
present boundary limits of Baltimore city, for the purpose of
increasing the basis of taxation of Baltimore county.

On motion by Mr. Grove, and by unanimous consent,

Leave was granted to Senators Grove, Fields, Miller and
Clarke to introduce a bill empowering the holders of water
