The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1867,
chapter 131, entitled an Act to incorporate the Resolute Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. President, Miller,
Browne, Snyder,
Fields, Spates,
Henkle, Stephenson,
Jump, Tillmons,
Kimmel, Welch,
Malone, Wilson—14.

NEGATIVE—None.
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 28, of the
Code of Public General. Laws, title "County Commissioners"
by adding the following sections,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third, reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the better protection of
the owners of stallions in Montgomery county,

Was read the second time and ordered to bo engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the better protection o
the owners of land bordering upon the Chesapeake bay and
its tributaries,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,
And. by unanimous consent, it was

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Joint Committee on
Printing be and he is hereby authorized to certify to the
Chairman of the Committee on Claims, the amounts of the
several bills for the burial expenses of the late Wm. Quinby,
who died while in the service of the State.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund Albert Sigmund
the sum of two hundred and four dollars erroneously paid
into the Treasury of the State,

Was read. the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
