enacting the same, reported it unfavorably.

On motion by Mr. Miller,
Said report was ordered to lie over.

Mr. Miller, from the Select Committee, to whom was refer-
red House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to
appoint an additional Justice of the Peace for the 7th election.
district of Cecil county, reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Browne, from the Select Committee, to whom was
referred House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commis-
sioners of Carroll county, to levy a tax upon the taxable pro-
perty of Carroll county, to pay Robert Jamison, of said county,
for the boarding and clothing of Benjamin Jamison, a luna-
tic pauper, of said county, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Sellman, from the Select Committee, to whom the
leave was granted, reported abill entitled an Act for the
better protection of the owners of stallions in Montgomery
county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Clarke, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Baltimore county, to levy an amount of
money to reimburse certain parties for building and repairing
bridges in Baltimore county, reported it unfavorably,

And the report was adopted.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 102, 103, 104,
107 and 108, of the Public Local Laws, of Baltimore county,
relating to fences, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum at
money to pay Alfred J. Molray, late Collector of Taxes, in
Dorchester county, the amount overpaid by him into the
Treasury,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third, reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Chancery," sub-title "Trustee," to follow section 139 of
said Article,
