Leave was granted to the Senators from Howard, Wor-
cester and Cecil counties tor introduce a bill to authorize the
Comptroller to pay to the School Commissioners of Howard
county, the arrearages due from the Academic fund, and to
pay over annually the sums due to that county.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings to
whom was referred House bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Trustees of the Lower West Nottingham Presbyterian
Church, in Cecil county, to sell and convey a lot of ground,
part of the bequest of Elizabeth A. McMains, deceased, re-
ported it without amendment.
