Biggs, Parker,
Clarke, Sellman,
Grove, Spates,
Henkle, Timmons,
Henry, Wilson—12.

NEGATIVE.

Messrs. Browne, Miller,
Carroll, Snyder,
Denson, Stephenson,
Earle, Welch—8.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The Senate was called, and the Sergeant-at-Arms was di-
rected to wait upon absent Senators and inform them that
their attendance was required in the Senate Chamber.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,

Further proceedings under the called were dispensed with.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The vote was reconsidered by which said bill was lost.
The question then recurring upon the passage of the bill,
Mr. Stephenson called for the reading of the bill,
Said bill was then read.

Mr. Miller moved that said bill be recommitted to the
Committee on Agriculture.

Mr. Henkle moved that the Senate adjourn.
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.

EVENING SESSION.

TUESDAY, March 22, 1870, 8 o'clock, P. M.
The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Biggs, Browne, Carroll, Clarke, Den-
son, Earle, Grove, Henkle, Henry, Hyland, Jump, Kimmel,
Malone, Miller, Parker, Sellman, Snyder, Spates, Stephen-
