A bill entitle an Act to repeal section 63, of Article 81,
General Laws, entitled "Revenues and Taxes."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 35, of Article 18,
Public General Laws, relating to Clerks of Courts,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to prevent fishing in Antietam
creek and its tributaries.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Washington and Harford counties, and the first legis-
lative district of Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to transfer money appropriated, by
chapter 303, section 1, Act of 1860, to the Elkton and Sas-
safras Railroad Company, from said Company to Elkton and
Massey's Railroad Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to amend and alter the charter of the
city of Annapolis.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesapeake Goal
and Iron Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners of
Carroll county to levy a tax upon the property of Carroll
county, to pay Robert J. Jimison, for boarding, clothing
and nursing of Benjamin Jimison, a lunatic pauper,

Which was read the first time and referred, to the Sena-
tors from Carroll and Prince George's counties, and the se-
cond legislative district of Baltimore city.

And returned the following Senate bills :

The Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act incorpo-
rating the Columbia and Port Deposit Railroad Company,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and. nays."

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment
of an additional Justice of the Peace in Harford county,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
