Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Maryland Floating Dock and Marine Rail-
way Company, passed March 24th, 1865, reported it without
amendments.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 2 of Janu-
ary session of 1868, chapter 266, entitled a supplement to the
Act passed January session 1864, chapter 116, entitled an Act
to revive and extend an Act to incorporate the Wicomico
and Pocomoke Railroad Company, with amendments,
passed December session 1847, and re-enact the same with
amendments, reported it with the following amendment:

 
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Insert before the word "local," in section 1, line 12, the
"words "Bay Shore or."

Which was read and adopted.
The section, as amended, was then read and adopted.
Said bill was then read. the second time.

Mr. Brown from the Committee on Education, to whom
the leave was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to dis-
tribute the Academic and High School Fund of Carroll
county, to the Western Maryland College and Manchester
Academy in Carroll county,

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Biggs from the Select Committee to whom was refer-
red House bill entitled, an Act, to legalize the bequests made
by John Whitmore, to certain churches in Frederick
county, reported it without amendment,

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Clarke from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Baltimore County," by adding thereto
the following additional sections in relation to swine run-
ning at large, reported it without amendment,

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also from the same Committee, to whom was referred House
bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1, 2, 3 and 7, of chap-
ter 433 of 1868, relating to voting precincts in Baltimore
