with the following amendment:

And be it enacted, That the polls for the 13th district shall
be held at John J. Wade's Green Spring Hotel, near the
4th Mile Stone on the Washington Road.

Which was read and adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates from the Select Committee to whom the leave
was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to increase the
number of incorporators in an Act entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Westernport and Potomac Railroad Company,
passed at the January session 1843, chapter 219.

Which was read the first time.

Also, from the same Committee to whom the leave was
granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to repeal sections &
and 6, of the Act of 1864, chapter 121, an Act repealing
sections 23, 31, 32, 33, 35, 53 and 54, of the 1st Article, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany county, relating
to the charter of the City of Cumberland, and re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Also, from the same Committee to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany
county, relating to the fees of the County Surveyor, reporter
it without amendments.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Select Committee to whom was refer-
red House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Sudlersville, in Queen Anne's county, reported it without
amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Emmitts-
burg Gas Light Company,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
