The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend section 62, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws relating to
the redemption of Real Estate sold for taxes, as amended by
the Act of 1862, chapter 133,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Biggs, Hyland,
Carroll, Kimmel,
Clarke, Parker,
Earle, Snyder,
Grove, Spates,
Henkle, Timmons—13.
Henry,

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the sale by
common carriers of unclaimed freight,

Being upon the third reading,
The rules being suspended,

Mr. Clarke submitted the following amendment :
Amend by striking out the third and fourth sections.
Which was read and adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 37 to 40, of the-
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses," and to
substitute in lieu thereof the following sections.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Harford county, to sell a part of the poor house,
and to erect suitable buildings for the use of the paupers of
said county, and to levy a sum of money for that purpose.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Sena-
tors from Harford and Caroline counties, and the first legis-
lative district of Baltimore county.

A bill entitled an Act providing for the repairs of the
public roads and bridges of Montgomery county, and to re-
peal a certain Act inconsistent therewith.
