Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendments:
Amend section 7, line 2, by striking out the words "Balti-
more city," and insert State of Maryland:
Section 7, line 3, strike out "said city," and insert the
State.

Section 7, line 4, strike out the word "April," and in-
sert May.

Section 7, after " Criminal Court of Baltimore city," in-
sert : or the Circuit Court of the county where the offence
may be committed.

Section 8, alter "Criminal Court of Baltimore city," in-
sert : or Circuit Court of the county where the offence may
be committed.

Section 8, strike out "April," and insert May.
Section 8, strike out "City of Baltimore," and insert this

State.
Section 13, add at the end of the section, and continue in

force for two years, but not longer, unless so enacted by the

next General Assembly.
Amend title by striking out "Baltimore city," and insert

State of Maryland.

Which were severally read and adopted.
The sections, as amended, were severally read and adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time, and ordered to be

engrossed for the third reading.

The House bill entitled an Act to provide for the erection of
a Bridge over the Gunpowder river, at Cromwell's Ford in
Baltimore county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE

Browne, Kimmel,
Clarke, Malone,
Fields, Sellman,
Grove, Spates,
Henkle, Welch,
Henry, Wilson—14.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

bridge over the Gunpowder river, at Warren's Factory, in
Baltimore county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
