The President announced that the hour had arrived for
taking up the order of the day.

The question being upon the adoption of the unfavorable
report of the Committee on Finance on House Joint Resolu-
tions in reference to the claim of the State against the Balti-
more and Ohio Railroad Company.

On motion by Mr. Grove,

The further consideration of said Report was postponed
until to-morrow at 11 o'clock.

Mr. Earle asked and obtained leave of absence until Wed-
nesday next.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,
The vote by which the further consideration of the unfa-
vorable Report on the House Resolutions in reference to the
claim of the State against the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company was postponed until to-morrow at 11 o'clock, was
reconsidered.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,

The further consideration of said Report was postponed
until Monday, at 12 o'clock.
