Anne Arundel and Calvert counties, reported it without
amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom was
recommitted the Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary
to an Act to make certain improvements in the vicinity of
the Live Stock Scales, passed at the January session, 1864,
chapter 23, and to an Act amendatory thereof, passed 1866,
chapter 120, &c., reported it with the following amendment :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 8, amend by striking out the words " nine
thousand," and invert in lieu thereof seven thousand, six
hundred. and. thirty-six dollars.

Amend section 2, line 2, by striking out " nine thousand "
and insert in lieu thereof, seven thousand, six hundred and
thirty-six dollars.

Amend section 2, line 4, by striking out the words " seven
thousand and sixty dollars and sixty-eight cents," and insert
in lieu thereof, five thousand, eight hundred and eighty-three
dollars.

Amend line 5, by striking out the words " one thousand
and eighty-nine dollars," and insert in lieu thereof, nine
hundred.

Amend line 9, section 2, by striking out the words " nine
thousand dollars," and insert in lieu thereof, seven thousand
six hundred and thirty-six dollars.

Which were severally read and adopted.
The sections as amended, were then read and adopted.
Mr. Timmons moved to strike out the fourth section.
Which was adopted.

Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Stephenson,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of Executive
business, and after a time, resumed the consideration of
Legislative business.
On motion by Mr. Clarke,

The Senate adjourned.
