Mr. Carroll moved a suspension of the rules, in order to
give the House bill entitled an Act to provide for maintain-
ing and keeping in repair the public roads of Howard county,
and to repeal the Act passed at the January session 1868,
chapter 358, entitled an Act to provide for the repairs of the
public roads in said county the third reading.

The yeas and nays were called as required by section 27,
of Article 3, of the Constitution and appeared, as follows :

Carroll, Miller,
Clarke, Parker,
Earle, Sellman,
Fields, Snyder,
Henkle, Spates,
Henry, Stephenson,

So two-thirds of all the Senators elected, raving voted in
the affirmative,

Said bill was read the second time.

The House bill entitled an Act to regulate the drawing
and selection of jurors in Somerset and Worcester counties,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows: I
