additional counsel to aid the Attorney General in such pro-

referred House bill entitled an Act to repeal the sections from
44 to 55, both inclusive, sub-title "Traders," and the sections
from 60 to 69, both inclusive, sub-title "Spirituous and Fer-
mented Liquors by retailers," and the sections from 73 to 84,
both inclusive, and section 86, of sub-title "Oyster and
Eating Houses," of Article 56, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Licenses," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time. Mr. Carroll, from the Committee on the Militia, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of
1868, chapter 414, entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled
an Act to repeal Article 63, &c., of the Code of Public Gene-
ral Laws, entitled "Militia," reported it without amendment.

ferred House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to provide for the improvement of
Jones' Falls within the Iimits of Baltimore city, reported it

ferred House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to issue the bonds of the City
of Baltimore, to an amount not exceeding two millions five
hundred thousand dollars, for the purpose of providing means
for the improvement of Jones' Falls, within the limits of
Baltimore city, reported it without amendment. Said bill was then read the second time. Mr. Miller, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to protect fish in the waters
of Mill creek and Principio creek, in Cecil county, reported
it without amendment. Said bill was then read the second time. Mr. Welch, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
