The Senate adopted as a rule that in the consideration of
local bills the counties shall be called in alphabetical order:

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal Article 8, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, from
section 114 to 133 inclusive, title "Cecil county," sub-title
"North East," and re-enact the same with amendments,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of incor-
poration of Mechanicstown, Frederick county, Maryland,
passed February 13, 1832, chapter ill, and the supplement
thereto, and sections 193 to 212 of Article 11, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, and to substitute in lieu of said Acts and
sections, the following sections incorporating the village of
Mechanicstown, in said county,
