The Senate bill entitled an Act to protect Ministers of the
Gospel in the discharge of their duties in relation to marriage,

Being on its second reading,
Mr. Fields submitted the following amendment :
Amend by striking out section 3.
Mr. Earle moved that the enacting clause be stricken out,
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.

Mr. Kimmel gave notice that he should move a reconside-
ration within the time allowed by the rules of the Senate.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section six of
Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Billiards,"
Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Fields submitted the following amendment :
Amend by striking out section 4.
Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to continue in force an
Act entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the fees of
Constables, passed at the January session, 1868,

Was read the second time, and ordered to beengrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 171 of
Article 93 of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to
the investment by guardians of the proceeds of sale of real
estate belonging towards, &c.,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a. third reading.

On motion by Mr. Malone, the vote by which the bill en-
titled an Act to continue in force an Act entitled an Act to
regulate the fees of Constables, &c., was ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading, was reconsidered.

On motion by Mr. Malone, said bill was recommitted to
the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

The Senate bill entitled a supplement to an Act incorpor-
ating the Columbia and Port Deposit Railroad Company, &c.,
WM considered, and
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,

Ordered to be postponed until the return of the Senator from
Cecil county.
On motion by Mr. Earle,
