Which was adopted.

Mr. Jordan submitted the following order:

Ordered, That John A. Brown, Page, have leave of ab-
sence until Tuesday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Bowlus submitted the following order:

Ordered, That the use of this Hall be granted to Wm. D.

Cooke, Principal of the State Deaf and Dumb Asylum, for
the purpose of giving a free exhibition by the pupils of said
Asylum, on Thursday Evening next, February 3d, which
the members of the General Assembly are specially invited
to attend, and none be admitted but members of the two
Houses, and those they may invite, and the Door-keepers
be required to see that this order is enforced.

Which was adopted.

Mr. White submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the order heretofore passed by this House,

directing that every bill presented to this House shall be
printed before it shall be passed, be, and the same is hereby,
rescinded in so far as it relates to local bills.

Which was read and laid over for one day, under a stand-
ing rule of the House.

Mr. Turner submitted the following order.

Ordered, That the Baltimore county delegation have leave
to sit in Committee this day during the session of this House.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hoblitzell submitted the following order :

Ordered, That when this House adjourns to-day, it stand
adjourned until Monday, at 11 o'clock, A. M.

Which was read.

Mr. Bowlus moved that the order be' laid on the table.

Decided in the negative.

The order was then adopted.

On motion of Mr. Standish,

The House took up for consideration the following order
submitted by him on yesterday, which laid over for one day
under the rules:

Ordered, That the bill incorporating the town of Frost-
burg be exempted from the operation of the standing order
