The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to the Public Local Laws of Allegany county, and to
repeal sections 24, 25, and 26 thereof, and re-enact the same
with amendments, dividing the City of Cumberland into two
election wards,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to protect birds of every
description in the County of Washington, excepting owls and
hawks,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 22 of the
Code of Public Local Laws for Wicomico county, by adding
several new sections thereto, entitled an Act to extend the
corporate limits of the town of Salisbury, and to enlarge the
powers of the Town Commissioners of said town, to come
after section 21 of said Article,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Clarke, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act to incor-
