Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendment:
Amend title by striking out the word "Turnpike Roads."
Which was adopted.

The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of
Frostburg, in Allegany county,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:

Clarke, Parker,
Denson, Sellman,
Earle, Spates,
Fields, Timmons,
Grove, Welch,
Henkle, Wilson—20.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

Abill entitled an Act to provide for the erection of a bridge
over the Gunpowder river, at Cromwell's Ford, in Balti-
more county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena-

tors from Baltimore, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.

A bill entitled an Act to amead the Public Local Laws of
Kent county, title, "Chestertown," by repealing section 35,
and to re-enact the same as amended.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena-
tors from Kent, Queen Anne's and Calvert counties.

A bill entitled an Act to permit the hunting of foxes in
Kent county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Sena-
tors from Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 50, of Article 9,

of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Charles county"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and re-
enact the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Charles, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties.
