A bill entitled an Act to provide for the erection of a
bridge over Jones' Falls at Woodbury, in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Sena-
tors from Baltimore, Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates returned the bill en-
titled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Fred-
erick county to build a new Almshouse for Frederick county,
and to borrow money on the credit of the county.

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend section 1, line 13, by striking out the word "fifty,'"

and inserting the word sixty.
Section 2, line 6, strike out the word "fifty," and insert the

word sixty.
Line 7, strike out the words "at the rate of six per cent,

per year."
Line 11, after the word "taxes," add, Provided, that the

said bonds shall be exempt from county and municipal taxa-
tion.
