NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to whom was referred House bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 18 of Article 16, of the Code of Public General
Laws, entitled "Chancery," and sub-titled "Audits," and
to re-enact the same so as to read as follows.

Reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Joint Committee, submitted the fol-
lowing
REPORT.

The Committee appointed by the two Houses to inquire
and report what ceremonies on the part of the General As-
sembly are proper and right to extend to the officers of Her
Britannic Majesty's ship Monarch, the high respect which,
in every part of our State, is entertained for them and the
Government of which they are representatives, having ad-
vised together, have agreed to recommend to their respective
Houses, as the highest compliment in the ability of the Gen-
eral Assembly, to invite the officers of the Monarch to the
freedom of the floor of the two Houses.

On motion by Mr. Hyland,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of Executive

business,
And, after a time, resumed the consideration of Legisla-

tive business.
