NEGATIVE—None.
Said Bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

Mr. Stephenson asked and obtained leave of absence for
several days.

Mr. Stephenson asked to be excused from further service
on the Committee on furnishing the Government House.

Which was granted

And the President appointed Mr. Parker, to fill the
vacancy.

On motion by Mr. Timmons,
The Senate adjourned.

THURSDAY, February 10,1870.
The Senate met pursuant to adjournment.
Prayer by the Rev. Father Duffey.
Present at roll call the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Biggs, Browne, Carroll, Clarke, Den-
son, Earle, Fields, Grove, Henkle, Henry, Hyland, Jump,
Kimmel, Malone, Miller, Parker, Sellman, Snyder, Spates,
Timmons, Welch, Wilson—23.

The Journal of yesterday was read and approved.

Mr. Timmons presented the petition of 63 citizens of Wor-
cester county, praying that the name of Sandy Hill may be
changed to Stockton.

Which was read and. referred to the Committee on Cor-
porations.
