The President announced the bill entitled an Act to author-
ize the Adjutant General to furnish arms to the students of
the Maryland Agricultural College.

Mr. Henkle submitted, the following amendment:

Add at the end of the 3d section : Provided, The entire
cost of said arms and accoutrements shall not exceed the sum
of $1,400.
Which was adopted by yeas and nays, as follows:

reading.

The President announced the House bill entitled an Act
to amend an Act passed at the January session, 1860, enti-
tled an Act to incorporate the Carrollton Avenue Company.

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
