Mr. Clarke from the Select Committee to whom was referred
the House bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act to

authorize and require the County Commissioners of Balti-
more county to convey a lot of ground to the Board of School
Commissioners of Baltimore county, to be used for a Public
School House site, passed at the January sessiori. 1868, chapter
393,

Reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Snyder, from the Select Committee of the Senators
from Baltimore city, Senators to whom was referred House
bill entitled an Act to repeal section 174, of Article 4, of the
Public Local Laws relating to the City of Baltimore, and re-

enact the same with amendments,

Imported it without amendments.
Said bill was then read the second 'time.'.

Mr. Timmons, from the Select Committee to whom the
leave had been granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to
regulate the compensation of the State's Attorney in Worces-
ter county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Henry, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 17 and
19, of Article 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Dor-
chester county, entitled "Almshouse," and to repeal sections
10 and 20, of said Article, and re-enact the same with amendments.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Malone, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to repeal the first section

of the Act of the General Assembly, January session of 1868,
chapter 50, relating to the County Commissioners of Wicom-
ico county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

ferred House bill entitled an Act to extend the jurisdic-
tion of Justices of the Peace in Wicomico county to cases of
