Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
leave had been granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to
incorporate the Potomac and Piedmont Goal and Railroad
Company.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Cecil Fire Brick Company in Cecil county,

Reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Mount Hope Betreat in Baltimore county,

Beported it without amendment,
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred the House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act,
passed March 18th, 1867, entitled an Act to revive and ex-
tend an Act to incorporate the Worcester county Railroad
Company, passed at the January session, 1853, with amend-
ments,

Reported it without amendments,
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred the House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
town of Frostburg, in Allegany county,

Reported it without amendments.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred the House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Antietam Railroad Company in Washington county,

Reported it with the following amendment :
Strike out section 13.
Pending the consideration of which,
On motion by Mr. Grove,
Said bill was ordered to be postponed until Monday next.

Mr. Clarke from the Select Committee to whom was refer-
red the House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace
in the 5th election district of Baltimore county,
