Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act to authorize
and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore county,
to convey a lot of ground to the Board of School Commis-
sioners of Baltimore county, to be used for a Public School
House site, passed at the January session, 1868, chapter 393.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Clarke, Biggs and Henkle.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the first section of the Act
of the General Assembly, January session. 1868, chapter 50,
relating to the County Commissioners of Wicomico county,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Malone, Henry and Fields.

A bill entitled an Act for the better protection of Par-
tridges, Pheasants and Woodcock, in Harford county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Stephenson, Grove and Kimmel.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 174, of Article 4,
of the Public Local Laws. relating to the City of Baltimore,
and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
from Baltimore city.

On motion by Mr. Welch,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to report a bill to provide a simple and uniform system
of charges of fees in the offices of the Registers of Wills in
the several counties and the City of Baltimore, of this State,
under Article 3d, section 45, of the Constitution of 1867.

On motion by Mr. Timmons,

Leave was granted to Senators Timmons, Earle and Welch,
to introduce a bill to regulate the number of Commissioners
for Worcester county.

On motion by Mr. Timmons,

Leave was granted to Senators Timmons, Earle and Welch,
to introduce a bill to repeal section thirty-eight of Article
twenty-two, of the Code of Public Local Laws, for Worcester
county.

On motion by Mr. Timmons,

Leave was granted to Senators Timmons, Earle and Welch,
to introduce a bill to regulate the compensation of the State's
Attorney for Worcester county.
