A bill entitled an Act to amend section 10, of Article 51,
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Justices of the
Peace."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act granting the assent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to a bequest of a legacy made in the
last will and testament of Josias Ramsey, late of Cecil county,
deceased, to the Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church,
at New Leeds, in Cecil county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Antietam Bail
Road Company, in Washington county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations,

A bill entitled an Act to amend chapter 241 of the Act of
Assembly, January session, 1867, by inserting an additional
section to be substituted for section 8, and make the present
section 8 to number 9.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

The Joint Resolutions authorizing the Librarian to extend
the use of the Library to the Judges of the Circuit Court for
Anne. Arundel county, during the sessions of said Court at
Annapolis.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

The Joint Resolutions relating to the Cattle Scales, in
Baltimore city.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Agri-
culture.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 3, of chapter 246,
passed at the January session, 18.68, entitled an Act to aid.
in the establishment of a Hospital in connection with the
Washington University, of Baltimore, and to appropriate
money for the same, &c.
