Which was read the first time and referred to the Coliimit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act for the better protect on of Game in
Montgomery county.

Which was read the first time, an I referred to Senators
Sellman, Carroll and Browne.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the convention of the
Protestant Episcopal Church in the diocese of Easton.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to change the name of the Mutual
Coal Company of Allegany county, to that of the Maryland
Coal Company, and to confirm a decree of the Circuit Court
of Allegany county, changing said name.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Har-
ford county," sub-title "States Attorney." '

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

By unanimous consent, Mr. Earle presented the petition
of the President of the State Agricultural and Mechanical
Art Association.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance..
Mr. Clarke, by unanimous consent, submitted the following

REPORT.

The Committee on Printing report that they have con-
tracted with Elias Griswold, Esq., of Baltimore city, for
indexing the Journal of proceedings of the Senate, for the
sum of $250, to be paid when the service has been performed,
the same being the amount paid at the last session.
