Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce abill to repeal section 8, of chapter 52, of the Acts
passed at January session, 1866, incorporating the Dorches-
ter and Delaware Railroad Company, and to re-enact the
same, amended as follows.

On motion by Mr. Jump,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill to repeal section 4, Article 83, of the
Code of Public General Laws, relating to Sales and Notices,
and re-enact the same with amendments,

On motion by Mr. Wilson,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to report a bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to Article 38, of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled, " Fees of Officers," sub-title, " Clerks of Courts," to
come in after section 10 of said Article.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill entitled a Supplement to an Act to incorporate the
People's Gas Company of Baltimore city.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act passed at the Jan-
uary session, 1868, chapter 431, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the Frederick and Williamsport Railroad Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Biggs, Clarke and Browne.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 162, 163, 164, 165,
166, 167, 168, 169, 170, and 171, of Article 6, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title, "Caroline County," sub-title,
"Roads," and to substitute therefor the following.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Fields, Henry and Malone.

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the Janu-
ary session, 1860, entitled an Act to incorporate the Carroll-
ton Avenue Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit- .
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 100, at
the January session, 1867, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Trustees of the Baptist church at Jones' Mills, in Dorchester
county, and re-enact the said section so as to read as follows,
