A bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the town of
Leitersburg, Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact section 959 of
Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of the city of Bal-
timore, sub-title, " Park."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore city.

The House bill entitled an Act to prevent fishing in Is-
rael's creek, in Washington county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Grove, Stephenson and Fields.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 204 of Article 21, of
the Public Local Laws of Washington county, relating to
Justices of the Peace and Constables in said county, and re-
enact the same as amended.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Grove, Stephenson and Fields.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the continuation of
the general Index of Judgments in Queen Anne's county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Earle, Welch and Hyland.

A bill entitled an Act to add additional sections to an Act
passed December session, 1849, chapter 377, entitled an Act
to incorporate a Company to make a turnpike road from
Williamsport, in Washington county, to the Pennsylvania,
line, in the direction of Greencastle, in Franklin county,
State of Pennsylvania.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to provide for the
better protection of partridges in Washington county, passed
at the January Session, 1868, chapter 21, and re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Grove, Henry and Stephenson.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to whom the leave had been granted, reported a bill entitled
an Act to authorize Joshua and Samuel Motter, or cither of
them, to convey all the right, title, interest and claim of the
German Reform Congregation, at Emmittsburg.
