The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing bills:

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of
monies expended in repairing a bridge near Monkton, in
Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Clarke, Henkle and Biggs.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the continuation of the
General Index of Judgments in Queen Anne's county.

Considered and ordered to lie over.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 43, of Article 61,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Mechanic's
Lien," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to prevent fishing in Israel's Creek,
in Washington county.

Considered, and ordered to lie over.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 345 and 346, of
chapter 11, of the Public Local Laws of Frederick county,
sub-title "Woodsboro," and re-enact the same with amend-
ment.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Biggs, Hyland,and Sellman.

A bill entitled an Act to provide fur the better protection
of Mocking Birds in Dorchester county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Henry, Malone and Fields.

A bill entitled an Act to amend and add an additional
section to Article 41, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Fish and Fisheries," to follow Section 35 thereof.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, entitled an Act to
provide for the better protection of Partridges in Washing-
ington county, passed at the January session, 1868, chapter
21, and re-enact the same with amendments.

Considered and ordered to lie over.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 204 of Article 21
of the Public Local Laws for Washington county, relating to
Justices of the Peace and Constables in said county, and re-
enact the same as amended.
