Said Report and accompanying documents were referred to
the Committee on Finance.

On motion by Mr. Biggs,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to repeal sections twelve and fifteen of an
Act passed at January session, 1867, chapter 298, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Pennsylvania Line Railroad Com-
pany, and to re-enact the same, with amendments.

Mr. Snyder, from a Select Committee, submitted the fol-
lowing :

The Special Committee, to whom was referred the order in
relation to leaves to introduce bills, beg permission to offer
the following, as an additional rule, to be numbered "60."

[Rule No. 60.]

All leaves to introduce bills to repeal or amend any Arti-
cle or section of the Code, shall refer to the subject of such
Article or section, to facilitate the indexing the same.

Which was read and adopted.

Mr. Denson, from a Select, Committee, submitted the fol-
lowing:

Report of the Special Committee, appointed to select suita-
ble Chaplains for the Senate.

The Committee appointed to confer together and make
selection of suitable Ministers to officiate as Chaplains to
this body, beg to recommend for the action of the Senate the
names of the Rev. Mr. Hildt, Rev. Mr. Southgate, Rev.
Father Duffy, Rev. L. C. Miller, Rev. Mr. Henderson.

Which was read and adopted.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill, to be entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the Electors of President and Vice President
of the United States, in and for the State of Maryland, their
officers and attendants.
