regulations as may be adopted by the Joint Printing Commit-
tee to be hereafter appointed.

On motion by Mr. Stephenson, it was

Ordered, That all motions to print extra or additional
copies of any bill, report, document, or other paper, shall be
referred to the Committee on Printing ; and if said Commit-
tee report in favor of printing an extra or additional number,
it shall be accompanied with the estimated probable cost
thereof.

Mr. Snyder submitted the following' order :

Ordered, That all leaves to introduce bills to repeal or
amend any Article, or section of any Article of the Code,
shall refer to the subject of such section or Article, to facili-
tate the indexing of the same.

On motion by Mr. Snyder,
Said order was referred to a Committee of three Senators.

The President appointed as said Committee Senators Sny-
der, Miller and Spates.

On motion by Mr. Clarke, it was

Ordered, That when the Senate adjourns to-day, it stands
adjourned until 12 o'clock Tuesday, the 11th January.

On motion by Mr. Earle, it was

Ordered, That the Comptroller of the Treasury report to
the Senate, at the earliest practicable .day, the amounts paid
to pensioners in the years 1867, 1868 and 1869. The same
to be reported in parallel columns, which shall show the
name of each pensioner, the amount paid to each for each
year, the aggregate amount disbursed in pensions each year,
and the name of the County or Legislative District of the
City of Baltimore in which each pensioner resides.

The President laid before the Senate the Report of the Su-
perintendent of Labor and Agriculture, which was referred
to the Committee on Labor and Agriculture, hereafter to be
appointed.

On motion by Mr. Kimmel, the order in relation to distri-
buting the different subjects of the Governor's Message, was
reconsidered.

On motion by Mr. Kimmel, the number of said Committee
was increased to five.

The question then recurred upon the adoption of the order
as amended, and it was determined in the affirmative.
