the bill entitled an Act in. relation to State Banking Institu-
tions, and respectfully decline to comply therewith, the
amendments having been adopted by this House, and the bill
passed.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the bill entitled an
Act to authorize and empower the Governor to appoint an
additional Justice of the Peace for the First Election District
of Dorchester county,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ment."

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike put the title of the bill and insert in lieu thereof the
following: A bill entitled an. Act to authorize the appoint-
ment of two additional Justices of the Peace for Dorchester
county.

The proposed amendment to title was adopted.
