Which was adopted.

Mr. Martin submitted the following order :

Ordered, That for the convenience of the members of this
House, the printer be directed to furnish ten copies of the
daily Journal of Proceedings in the long form, when worked
off, instead often copies daily, as now furnished.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Choate submitted the following order:

Ordered, That it be entered upon the Journal that C. J.
Shipley is absent from his seat by sickness.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Militia to intro-
duce a bill to repeal sections 1 to 39, inclusive, of Article 63,
of the Supplement to the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled "Military," and re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Hopkius submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the Comptroller be requested to make an
exhibit to this House of all monies collected for Public
Schools, and the amount distributed to each county since the
passage of the present School law to January 1, 1870.

Which was adopted.

Mr, Wilmer submitted the following order :

Ordered. That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Beck
is detained at home from severe illness in his family.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Hobliizell,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal sections 1 and 4, of Article 13, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Bastardy and
Fornication," and re-enact the same witb amendments.

On motion of Mr. Markland,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled " An Act to create State Banking
Institutions, and to enable the several Banks in the State,
State and National, to avail of the provisions thereof.

On motion of Mr. Hopkins,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
