shall and others, praying that a pension be granted him for
services rendered during the war of 1814.

Mr. Martin presented the petition of Alice E. Hall, of
Prince George's county, to be placed on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. McCreery submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr.
Veitch is detained from his seat in this House by sickness.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Webb submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the standing order of this House requiring
the House to meet at 12 o'clock, noon, be rescinded, and that
the daily sessions of the House shall hereafter commence at
11 o'clock, A. M., until otherwise ordered.
