Judiciary.

Mr. Martin presented the petition of James R. Hopewell,
of Baltimore city, to be paid balance due him for services
rendered in Tobacco Warehouse No. 5.

Which was read and referred to Committee on Claims.

Mr. Ehlen presented a petition for State Pension, war of
1812, from Joshua Harrison.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Merrick presented the petition of Ignatius Knight,
praying for a pension as a soldier of the war of 1812.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Cameron presented the petition of Jacob M. McDon-
ald and twenty-nine others, asking that Mrs. Mary Standford
be placed upon the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Merrick presented the petition of the Heirs and De-
visees of George Bailey, deceased, late of Baltimore city, to
the General Assembly of Maryland,

seven others, to repeal an Act of the General Assembly pass-
ed at the session of 1862, Chapter 252, to prohibit the sale of
liquors at or near Calverton, in Baltimore county.

ciary.

Mr. Ehlen presented the petition of Mrs. Susan Edwards,
widow of James Edwards, soldier of the war of 1812, for a
State pension. .
