1184 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 31,

On motion of Mr. Gatch

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Select Committee on that subject.

Mr. Gatch, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed
January session, 1868, chapter 104, appropriating a sum of
n oney to remove the Confederate dead to Antietam National
Cemetery. and in lieu thereof to enact the following.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

The bill was read a third time and passed by yeas and
nays, as follows:
