The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 108, of chapter
161, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1865, entitled
an Act to repeal section 108, of Article 17, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled "Queen Anne's County," and
enact in lieu thereof the following, relating to public roads
and gates, and amend the same so as to read as follows.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Queen
Anne's delegation, and Mr. Hardcastle, of Talbot.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to refund moneys overpaid into
the Treasury by James H. McNeal, administrator of James
H, McNeal, and Samuel S. Yoe, late Tax Collectors for Tal-
bot county.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Claims.

Mr. Lankford, Chairman of the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point Commissioners to examine the fisheries of the State,
with a view to their improvement and protection, and to re-
port thereon to the next General Assembly, and to appro-
priate a sum of money to defray the expense thereof.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Port Deposit Gas
Light Company.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Biddle, Chairman of the Select Committee on Fertili-
zers, reported unfavorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the inspec-
tion of all artificially manufactured or manipulated fertili-
zers imported or brought into or manufactured for sale in the
State of Maryland.

The unfavorable report was adopted.
Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
Mr. Baldwin, of Anne Arundel, Chairman of a Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the 19th section of the
29th Article of the Code of Public General Laws and the pro-
viso to the 33rd section of the 5th Article of the said Code,
relating to the stay of execution, and to extend the time for
enforcing the execution of judgments.
