The Governor created this committee in June
1984. The Committee studied fringe benefits, lon-
gevity steps, and general compensation policies for
State Police personnel. It also compared Maryland
salaries and fringe benefits with those of local
government and other states.

the Governor in November 1984 for consideration
as part of the FY 1986 budget.
