clerk of the Circuit Court for said county, and the said clerk
may issue execution thereon as on judgments of said court.

95. The constables of said county while attending the Circuit
Court shall each be entitled to two dollars a day.

ORPHANS' COTOT.

96. Bach judge of the Orphans' Court for said county, shall be
entitled to receive two dollars and fifty cents for each day's
attendance upon the sessions of said court.

OXFORD.

97. The inhabitants of Oxford, in Talbot county, and all other
persons holding real property in said town, are a body corporate
by the name of " The Commissioners of Oxford," and by that
name may sue and be sued, and may have and use a common
seal, and may break or alter the same at pleasure.

98. The limits of the said town shall be as described on a plat
in the office of the clerk of the Circuit Court for Talbot county,
labelled Oxford alias Williamstadt, surveyed and laid out by
Philip Hensloy, surveyor, appointed the twenty-fifth day of Sep-
tember, sixteen hundred and ninety-five, plotted by a scale of
ten perches in an inch.

99. All free white male inhabitants above twenty-one years
of age, who shall have had a bona fide residence in said town
for six months, and twelve months in the State, next preceding
the election, or who shall be the holders of real property within
the limits of said town, and havo resided six months in Talbot
county and twelve months in the State, shall, on the first Mon-
day of June in each year, at such house as shall be designated
by the commissioners, elect five persons who have resided in
said town at least twelve months next preceding the election,
commissioners of said town.

100. The said election shall be held as shall from time to time
be directed by the ordinances of said corporation, not contrary
to law.

101. Every commissioner so elected, shall, before he shall
proceed to execute his office, take an oath before some justice
