lessee of such warehouse shall allow the use of the said ware-
house and of one or more of his prizes, for prizing the tobacco
so separated and repacked in the said hogshead; and if there be
several hogsheads of tobacco belonging to several owners to be
packed, repacked and prized at any warehouse, the owner or
other person bringing the same, whose tobacco shall be first
examined and refused, shall be first permitted to make use of
such prize or prizes.
527*. No inspector or lessee shall take or convert to his own
use or otherwise dispose of any draughts or samples of tobacco
drawn out of any hogshead, without the consent of the owner,
but the same, if fit to pass, shall be delivered to the owner or
other person offering the same for inspection, under the penalty
of seventy-five cents for each sample.
528*. All tobacco inspected in any warehouse, which may be
condemned or stayed, shall be carefully cased up and weighed,
and the gross weight and tare entered upon a book kept for that
purpose by the lessee, together with the number of breaks in such
hogshead as may be stayed; and also the cause, whether for order,
scraps or wet, together with any other appropriate remarks.
529*. All tobacco thus stayed shall, with all convenient de-
spatch, be shaken out, reconditioned and packed under the super-
vision of the inspector, but by the lessee, and shall by the lessee
be reweighed, and when inspected and certified, entered upon the
books of the lessee, as all other tobacco.
530*. The several lessees shall receive for reconditioning and
packing all stayed tobacco the following prices: for one or two
breaks, one dollar; for a full stay, two dollars; for redrawing
hogsheads not exceeding one thousand pounds, seventy-five
cents; all hogsheads exceeding one thousand pounds, one dollar;
and on all tobacco inspected and delivered for shipment the
lessee shall receive for outage on all hogsheads not exceeding
eleven hundred pounds, one dollar and twenty-five cents; on all
hogsheads exceeding eleven hundred pounds and not exceeding
fifteen hundred pounds, one dollar and fifty cents; on all hogs-
heads over fifteen hundred pounds, two dollars: in all cases to
be paid by the shipper of the tobacco, or his agent.
531*. The owner of any stayed tobacco, or his agent, shall
have the privilege of removing the same from the warehouse
