free of all costs or charges whatever; but it shall not be lawful
to remove any stayed tobacco from any warehouse to another,
except as all other tobacco is removed.
532*. The several lessees may grant certificates of the weights
of any stayed tobacco, at the request of the owner or his agent,
which certificate shall state the condition of the said tobacco
and the weights, and where such tobacco shall be sold by the
owner or his agent to a shipper, tobacconist or other person, and
where said person is desirous of shipping or exporting in any
other manner the said tobacco in its stayed condition, he may
do so, upon paying the charges which are paid upon tobacco
which has been inspected and passed; and the lessee shall state,
in the manifests he shall make out, the uuudition of said tobacco,
and that said tobacco did not pass previous to its shipment.
533*. No band employed in any warehouse shall shake out,
condition or repack any tobacco without the express direction
of the lessee of such warehouse, and the lessee shall see that
the conditioning or packing is done in a proper manner.
534*. All scrap tobacco accruing in any warehouse shall be
sold by the lessee of such warehouse to the best advantage, and
the proceeds of such sales shall be quarterly accounted for to
the Comptroller, and paid upon his warrant to the Treasurer for
the benefit of the tobacco fund.
535*. All tobacco delivered at any warehouse for inspection
in such condition as to require cooperage, shall be properly
coopered and taken care of by the lessee, and the owner or his
agent charged for the same a sum not less than twenty-five
cents nor more than fifty cents for each hogshead thus coopered.
536*. 'Each lessee shall in the month of April, annually, cause
to be inserted in some one of the Baltimore newspapers, once in
each week for three months, an advertisement, stating the name
of the warehouse, the weight, gross, tare and net, the number
and the person in whose name any tobacco may have been in-
spected which has remained in his warehouse for the space of
four years, the owners whereof are unknown to the lessee.
537*. If the owner of such tobacco shall not apply for the
same within six months from the date of such advertisement,
and pay the warehouse charges due thereon and the cost of
