116 BALTIMORE COUNTY. [ART. 3.

miles, from Towsontown, he shall be entitled to receive pay for
seven days in the week.

122. The county commissioners of said county shall levy
annually such sum of money as they may deem sufficient to pay
the expenses and charges which may be for the succeeding year,
for the attendance of jurors summoned to the Circuit Court for
said county.

123. The clerk of said court shall, immediately upon the dis-
charge of any juror, make out and deliver to him on demand, a
certificate of the number of days such juror served, and the
treasurer of said county shall, upon presentation of said certifi-
cate by the juror or his assigns, pay the amount therein certified
to be due.

124. The clerk of the Circuit Court shall, upon the close of
every session of said court, make out a list of jurors, stating
therein the number of days each juror served, and deliver the
same to said treasurer.

JUSTIOBS OF THE PEACE AND CONSTABLES.

125. There shall, at the general election for delegates in Balti-
more county, be elected for the several election districts in said
county, by the legal and qualified voters thereof respectively,
the following number of justices of the peace and constables,
that is to say, for election district number one, six justices of the
peace and four constables; for election district number two,
three justices of the peace and one constable; for election dis-
trict number three, six justices of the peace and four constables,
for election district number four, three justices of the peace and
two constables; for election district number five, three justices
of the peace and one constable; for election district number six,
three justices of the peace and two constables; for election dis-
trict number seven, three justices of the peace and two con-
stables; for election district number eight, four justices of the
peace and two constables; for election district number nine, six
justices of the peace and four constables; for election district
number ten, three justices of the peace and one constable; for
election district number eleven, four justices of the peace and
two constables; for election district number twelve, six justices
of the peace and four constables; for election district number
thirteen, three justices of the peace and three constables.
