117. If any person bringing any fire wood by railroads, or
otherwise, to Olarksville, or the limits aforesaid, for sale, shall
consume the same, unless for his family use, before it has been
corded and measured by the said inspector and corder, or shall
neglect or refuse to have tho same corded and measured, or after
the same nas been measured, shall alter the measurement or sell
the same by other measurement, or if any person shall knowingly
purchase and receive any fire wood brought to the said Olarks-
ville, which hath not been corded and measured, he shall forfeit
two dollars for every cord, and so in proportion for any less
quantity, to be recovered by warrant, in the name of the
informer; one-half to the use of the informer, and the other half
to the use of the school fund in said county,

LIME.

118. The lime manufactured at Clarksville, in Baltimore
county, between the fourteenth and sixteenth miles on the
Baltimore and Susquehanna Railroad, and within the space of
one-half mile on the east and west sides of said road, the inspec-
tion of which is not provided for by law, shall be inspected and
measured by the inspector and corder of wood, at the same place,
in the manner and for the fees to be collected from the manu-
facturer thereof, provided for the inspection of the same in Balti-
more city; Provided, That for measuring and inspecting agricul-
tural lime, he shall receive but one-eighth of one cent per bushel,
and shall distinguish the same into first quality, second quality,
and condemned, as the nature of the case may require; but
nothing herein contained shall apply to lime sent into the city
of Baltimore, or manufactured for home consumption.

119. Any person violating the provisions of the last preceding
section, shall be subject to a penalty of ten dollars for each
offence, to be collected as other small debts.

JUBOKS.

120. It shall not be lawful for the sheriff of said county, to
compel the attendance of any citizen of said county, as a juror
in the said court, more than one term of said court, during the
term of office of said sheriff.

121. Each juror attending said court shall be entitled to two
dollars a day, for each day's service, and if he reside over ten
