The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Mechanics'
Loan and Savings Institution of Clearspring, Maryland,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The hill entitled an Act to repeal section 5 of an Act
passed 9th March, 1860, entitled a further supplement to an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate companies to make several
turnpike roads through Baltimore county, and for other
purposes ; to authorize the laying down and equipment of a
railway on the Baltimore and Yorktown Turnpike Road,
between Baltimore and Towsontown, and the collection of
tolls thereon,

Being on its second reading,
On motion of Mr. Nicolai,
The enacting clause was stricken out.

The Secretary of the Senate returned the following House
Wills, severally endorsed " Passed by .yeas and nays : "

A bill entitled an Act. to incorporate the Mutual Fire
Insurance Company of Prince George's county.

A bill entitled an Act to levy a tax upon all banking
institutions doing business in this State in augmentation of
the Free School Fund of this State.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chestnut Summit
Avenue Company.

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of January ses-
sion, 1864, chapter 334, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Washington County Rail Road.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Cecil and Kent counties to build a bridge over Sas-
safras River, from Fredericktown, in Cecil county, to George-
town, in Kent county, and to levy a sum of money for the
same.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland and
Southern Immigration Society.

Mr. Blake moved that the House do now adjourn until 9
o'clock to-morrow morning.

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Iglehart moved that the House do now adjourn until
11 o'clock to-morrow morning.

Which was determined in the affirmative, and

At 11 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until to-mor-
row morning at 10 o'clock.
